I'm completely new to RC but I've got a project in mind and I need some help. I've got an old Power Wheels Jeep (battery operated that the kids can get in and drive) that I would like to convert to a RC. That's about all I've got. I don't know what I need, how strong it should be, and where I can buy these things. If anyone could help, I would certainly appreciate it.

If you just want to hop it up a bit, The esiest thing to do is up the voltage. CHeck out this link (http://perfauto.tripod.com/powerwheels.html).

Most of the power wheels use two 540 size brushed motors and a 6 volt cell. The power pedal is little more than an on off switch.

i think his son enjoys all the powerwheels lol. He must have a lot of time to mess with them
