I apologize in advance for my ignorance. I'm pretty to new to this hobby, and I just started looking for insurance. I see a lot about liability coverage, but is there any way to get physical damage insurance for my plane? I know the AMA offers $1,000 coverage with membership, but that doesn't seem like very much. I realize I can't get coverage while a plane is in the air, but what about if it's damaged or stolen during transportation or burned in a fire?
Is there a market for this type of coverage? If not, why not? I would think there would be some strong interest, am I the only one?
