Mad force one way bearing

I broke the one way bearing (MA018 (http://www.rmf.se/images/spare/madforce/madforce.jpg) ) that connects the driveshaft to the transmisson axis on my mad force. It doesn't grip anymore. I'm thinking of just drilling a hole in it and putting a sprint though the hole. Can anyone tell me if and why that would be a bad idea?

I glued it together using epoxy resin... It worked great. Will this tear the diffs appart or anything like that?
