Yea, we use for cars the MAX-series with 4 or 5 lipo cells...
The speed is faster than 1:8 fuel....... ;)

Coming soon with the photos of electric 1:8 prototype...

I'm guessing kkkracing's from somewhere in europe.. how popular is the ku klux klan in europe? I have an aim sn with "kkk" in it, but doesn't have any representation of the "klan".. drop it, this is an RC board.

Hey, this is a free "country" and everyone has a right to discuss or promote their products.

The problem is that (in your first post promoting your website) it looked like you were trying to come off as a consumer, and not the manufacturer.

You should have just said "I'm with XX company. Check out our new line of motors..."

Thanks Glassdoctos,
thankyou very much indeed, I don't understand why some people attack in this mode...

Ciao,
are those motors available in other countries outside Italy?
Which motor would suit 1:10 scale cars?
Hope to see the pictures soon.

I think that you can find this motors in Germany directly, this motors are from Germany but I don't know if exist a web address there, Flyware is european distributor, write to them.
For car I use the MAX-series with 4 or 5 lipo cells, ask them the properties, they'll send you the map of power of the motor requested.

KKK is a famous turbo manufacturer, all racing Porsches in the 70's were equipped with KKK turbo (935, 936, 917 in canam)....

It was a Joke.... that's why I put a smiley face after it.

Yes, I found the manufacturer in Germany, It's Wema Electronics with Flyware as brand name.
All those motors are made for airplanes only. Most of them don't have enough RPM to use in 1:10 scale cars with 6 cells, otherwise you're using 11,1 V Lipo.

Infact, we use the MAX series for car with 4-5 lipo cells...

Yes, the Max-Series are ideal for 1/8 scales, coz you have more space and you can give voltage, therefore more torque and more RPM at relatively low amperage.

What's so bad about 3s Lipo? :D I run a 3s 3300mah Lipo battery in my Rustler with a Feigao 12s motor. It has about 3000kv, so it's a pretty slow motor.

Bad for the wallet.
You also need a good controller like the U-force 75.
The Max's are 8 or 16 poles motors, the fastest rated 1320Kv and the smallest weighs 240g but they have a lot of torque.

They're not that bad for the wallet. Since the amp draw is lower, then I can get cells with lower amp ratings, which almost makes up for their "extra" price
One doesn't need a good controller to run 3s Lipo. Every sensorless controller that I have seen can run 3s Lipo. I myself use a $185 (USD) Mtroniks Truck controller, which is way overkill (but I also use it in my buggy). I could get the cheaper $160 Pro version, and even still that would be more than enough!

Sure not, but the 8 and 16 poles.

Yes, for high pole motors you do. I was speaking of 2-pole motors, though.
But now that we are on the same page, I agree that it would be expensive to get a controller that can handle 8 and 16 pole motors.
