i just wanted to know if there was anyone out there with alot of cogging issues with a similiar set-up and if its preventable. thanks.

On what sort of voltage? I hear the 9920 has cogging trouble on low voltages.

12cells so 14.4 volts, i've used the 9920 in my maxx and the cogging wasnt really an issue, but it seems to effect my evader i run it in,

The Maxx has a lot more drivetrain slop to mask cogging.

yeah i was just noticing that, so im gonna keep my 7xl and 9920 in my maxx and maybe get the mktroniks pro car of truck from you (if that is a better controller as far as cogging goes) and then put the 380c in my project Super Nitro Rally.
