I have a custom BBY Racing OM26 made from CF and I currently have a Hacker 70 ESC...which Feigao motor would you use for 12 cells?
Also, could you use the Hacker 70 in an BL 1/8 scale truck?
thanks

I don't know the relationship between how many amps a motor will pull in a car vs. how many it will pull in a boat, but what size motor are you looking at? If you are looking at a 540 "L" size motor, then the 10L should work (anything lower could pull too many amps). If you are interested in a "S" size motor, then the Feigao 12s is a good choice.
70amps isn't much for use in a 1/8 truck. Besides that, the software used to control a boat is different than that used for a car, and so it might not run properly.

Yea..I think the Navy will stay in the boat...Randy from BBY recommends the 8XL for the Hacker 70 with 12 cells...I too am not understanding how boat ESC's work

8XL is a very popular hydro motor on 12 cells.
