I wanted to, but I have to work that day. Also, isn't that like 2 hours away? We were getting good turnouts in rock hill, and even laid down the law and had seperate races for stock and mod. I'm just curious what happened all of a sudden.

I wish there was a following as I live in Charlotte and make the trip north everyweekend I'm not away. I hear Easly is repaving for 2006 so there's a good option..

too bad there's not a touring track nearby like there are off-road...anyway i look at it......to race touring cars is a three hour drive for me none-the-less. tho it wasn't all that organized, K'ville Hobbie's track was the perfect venue for me...great people, great track, and not even a 20 minute ride for me.ahhh bliss! (i miss those days)

Rock Hill just basically does not care about racing, only selling stuff in the shop. They never did realize that effort into the race tracks brings $$ into the shop.
Anyhow, there TC track is a non changing permanent layout that EATS tires, and people found better options, even if it's a longer drive. Plus, 3 back to back 180's doesn't make for fun racing in my mind.

I miss mooresville. I liked carpet, and the tires lasted forever. Had a huge turnout up there for touring. Ah well, it will be a few months before my 415 is up and running. I have to pay off everything else before I finish getting gear for it. I'll come watch at rosewood and get an idea of what I need to get.

No way, just map quested it, and its like 4 hours. Not worth the gas. There has to be somewhere else closer.

Easley has just put in a new layout. 2" pipes, flappers instead of discs but resurfacing will probably be in the Spring as tempertaure restictions are putting that on hold right now. Great group of touring racers and only an hour and a half from Charlotte right down I-85. No need to drive 4 hours.

heard a lot of good things bout easley track. but it's as far away from me as rosewood is. not that dedicated to touring this year to make such long drives 2 to 4 times a month. 'specially when there's like half-a-dozen off-road tracks all within 90 minutes of home. i had it good a didn't even know it!!!:D
