Hello to all, I am not new to boating but am new to gas boats. I am having a problem with a radio and cant figure it out.I have a Futaba Magnum Jr. in a gas boat. I range check it before each use ( always checks good) when you run the boat every once in a while you will hear the engine blip like the throttle servo glitched. It has even come to a complete stop and idle for a second with no responce to commands and then start working fine. I sent the radio back and they replaced the reciever and replaced the trigger assembly in the transmitter. After running the boat with the repaired radio it will still blip every now and then. The funny thing is it seems to do it at the furthest point away ( but well within the operating range of the radio ) I have run the boat on several lakes hundreds of miles apart so I don't think it is interference. I returned the radio again, they said nothing was wrong with the radio but they are replacing it anyway. I havn't recieved it yet but could ther be other issues. i have heard gas engine can mess with the radio's with the ignition, It has a resister plug in the engine and runs flawless so i dont think the engine is missing. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to jump in.
