I a'm reletevly new to 1/10 2wd carpet oval. I have an asociated rc10 l3 and I would like to know what kind of hopups I could buy for it.

Instead of running out to buy hop-ups right away, I'd get to the track and do a considerable amount of driving first. The RC10L3 is a very solid design out of the box, and it won't require hop-ups to be competitive. By going to the track you can talk to other racers. This combined with your driving practice should help you develope a good setup and give you a good idea of any tuning parts you might need to buy to help tune the car to your own driving style (tire compound, shock fluid weight, spring stiffness, ride height, gearing etc.)
