Hey guys I've got a Mini Quake laying around and saw package deals for Mamba 25 esc and motors for 1/18 scale on Towers site. Are these a decent set up? And are these good prices and which one would be best suited to the Mini Quake? Thanks

Mamba's are great-Don't know if they'll bolt right in to the MQ but even if you have to perform a little Dremel-itis it's worth it. But not at Tower's prices. Check All e Rc, http://www.allerc.com/store/index.php?cPath=7_52 or ebay. There's one listed right now for $109.

As far as which is best suited, most people on this forum seem to like the slower models, claiming the Comp X is TOO fast for racing.

Blah. Stuff that sucker in there, crank the timing up all the way, and get ready to laugh yourself silly.

b-p-p.com is selling at very good price too and they offer free shipping to anywhere now. with a mamba comp X u can reach speed of 45 to 60mph.

a bit dissapointed to see that monster max and mamba max is the same esc with diffren heatsinks. From what i read in the net, mamba max is 80+ amp cont... they remind me of mtroniks, same esc with bigger heatsink on the monster truck version. But I do hope the monster maxx is capable of pushing emaxx to at least 50 to 60mph :) now that'll make it the "Big Dog" :D
