I just ordered I set of 40 series crime fighters for my new LST, I am also interested in knowing the anwer of that, because all the guys at my track run 40 bow ties, but I think it is only because the crime fighters are a little new. I havent ran them yet, but I can see a difference, the sidewalls on the cf are larger than the bow ties.

Bowties handle very well in almost every situation. The crimefighters tend not to like dusty surfaces. I once tried racing with my big joes but found that it made my truck too heavy. The Joes' work really well if you running through grass or hilly terrain

what happen when you run the crimefigthers on dusty surfaces?? to much wheel spin?

Pin placement is too close together. IMO,the Bow Tie is more of an all purpose tire. I only use Crimefighters for a hardpack track, then they hook up better that the BTs. The CFs are a softer compound, too,or seem that way to me. The CFs have a thinner sidewall that is proned to rollover if using a sogt foam. I use the Panther firm molded foams in my CFs,and my buddy went with the Racer's Edge foams. He has major rollover in corners and I don't. Could be a setup issue though, cuz' I tend to use a bit of excess neg. camber than most to carry speed, and stay hooked up,through corners.

ohh thats a downer because in the tracks I run they are with a little loose dirt in summer, and in winter they are all hard packed. But now in my country is beggining the summer.

Don't get too bummed out. Still an awesome tire. Throttle control also plays a huge part in wheel spin. My local track is a loamy surface where the CFs seem to actually hook up better than the BTs,except in the really soft stuff in the outside of corners, like most tracks. The BTs have a lug design that is more self cleaning than the BTs,because of the spacing in the lugs. At the end of a heat,my CFs are holding alot more dirt/clay on the tire than the BTs. They ar really both great tires.
