Ive had 'proper' RC's since i was 8, i started racing at my local track when i was 10, and ive had about 8 electric cars since then (mainly buggys, such as the shumacher couger, and the fireblade)
- About 2years ago after about 2years out, i got my first Nitro, a MaxST, to 'bash' with.

In that time i've A LOT of fun with the truck, and learnt a lot about nitro. (im now more than happy to strip, rebuild, tune, run any engine) and ive done a lot with the truck.
- However Duratrax parts in to uk have never beeing easy, and now no-longer exist at all. (although they might start reappiering at some point)
- Anyway, im ready to move on, and im not looking for another car to replace it.

So basicaly, im just seeing what people think

Cars ive looked at so far include.
- The RC10GT, very simular idea to the MaxST, only diffren manufactor
- HPI rush-evo, bit diffrent, but still a 2wd ST, and its HPI (good uk supply)
- HPI MT2, simular to the rush, but its got the 4wd thing going on (good/bad?)
- HPI Hellfire, looks like a really cracking truck, but being 1/8th, almost certainly out of my price-range :(
- Shumacher Menace, i really liked the shumacher buggys, are there trucks good too? (but whats 70mph all about!)
- And then theres traxus's offerings, and the savage/lst thing.

Ahhhh

Some people will say that the lst and the MGT 4.6 is a good truck to better never ran them. But what are u looking for to do with it.

I'd love to race again, but now that im at uni (without a car) i can make it to a club, so it will only be for 'bashing'.
- I'll be using in the uni football (soccer) pitches, rough concrete areas, my lawn, and the road (small country lane)

Retiring the Max huh? I remember in a lot of your posts you talking about jumping so may I suggest a MT. I have had my Savage for a little over a year and it just absolutly takes every bit of punishment I can give it. I'm getting ready to install a STS 28 (cracked the S25's block on a bad landing) and I can't hardly wait to take it out and beat it again. I also have a Tmaxx and it is a tough truck as well. There are plenty of hop up parts avail for either truck and both are easy to run and maintain. I have also heard nothing but good things about the Revo, MGT, TNX, and LST. The choice is yours.

Yeah, i did go though a phase of jumping it quite a bit, and i still do to a certain extent, but mainly i just drive round the lawn/football pitch/smoothish ground.

As you say, the choice is mine, and what a huge choice!
- I think amoungst other things im just going to go and look around my LMS's , and see what they have, and see what the parts avalbiliy is like.
- Seeing as thats the main reason im geting a new car. ive just blown my last spur, and last week when i realised i didnt have a spare i rung 7model shops in the uk, all to be told the same "We dont have any, and we can get any, becuase the is currently no UK distributer, the only way of geting them is from the states direct"
