View Full Version : HELP!! LST2 or Lightning GTX2

Hello All. :D
I am looking to buy a new RC Monster Truck. I am going to use it for bashing and doing tricks with. I also want it to have speed and good build quality. I have nailed it down to two trucks the Lst2 and the GTX2. Can you give your opinions about the two I have picked or have any other suggestions. All help would be greatly accepted. :)

I have been looking on the web, but I can't find a shop that sells spares or hop ups for the gtx2. I know there are loads for the lst2. Does this make it a better truck overall.

bashing and tricks... I know you didn't include this but a savage would do what you want very well. Between the 2 you listed, I would lean towards the LST2.

you probably cant find parts for the gtx2 because its a relitavely new truck

I've herd that tuning two engines is very hard, does anyone have any ways they can make it easer to tune two engines. If this is going to be a problem should I go for the LST2? Any other help with a double engine would be greatly accepted. :)

oh i got a good idea if you dont want the gtx 2 get the single engine giga crusher it is called the sf it is faster than the dual engine one but won't go as fast as the gtx2 but it will be tough as nails and will be able to do all the jumps you want except its pretty heavy

I have been looking it into even more detail and have come up with a plan. What do you think of this, Savage 25 with twinzilla Conversion Kit or the New Era twin Conversion Kit. What do you think, are the Conversion Kit any good?

Just bought a gtx2. Can't wait to get it! Tower hobbies caries almost every part needed for the lightning gt which uses a lot of the same parts as the gtx2. I had an lst, I got the gtx2 to try something different.
