does anyone have a problem with them coming off on a revo. I didnt get the pro-line once i got once from Savage-central.com A company called Hot racing. And the worked till one fell off during a race with some buddies.. I was kinda funny seeing it falling off in mid air.. But will the pro-line be any diffrent...and can i put thread locker on any of these parts to help them stay on. or will it mess them up..

i have the proline ones on my emaxx, and i locked them on with thread lock. if you want to remove the threadlock just put them in boiling water.

were did u put the thread locker at on the 23mm adapters or the nut for the inner core. or both

the first thing i threadlocked was the nut that holds the whole adapter to the axle. i was driving around the street when I first got them and the nut came off and i lost a nut and drive pin. Then I threadlocked the adapter threads, because the 23mm nut started coming off over time

if i had 23mm (which i dont) i think i would use some scotch bright on the adapter and the maybe if you can get in to it the nut, and maybe the thread lock might stay on there,
just my two cents

23mm adapters have a nut that holds the whole adapter to the axle thread lock that and tighten it down well. Also threadlock the 23mm adapter and tighten the 23mm nut well. let dry overnight

Over night should be good.
As a last resort you could try red thread loc. You will have to use heat to remove it though.
I've also used CA when I've had screws that go into plastic and would not stay tight.

yup heat or boil it. I thread locked my 23mm nut and it would thread on again after i removed it to change tires. So what the head ill throw it in some boiling water. Threadlock just peels off instantly.

ok il give the red thread locker a try.. thanks guys.. Can it hurt to put wd-40 on my drive cups and other rusty parts

I think it is best to avoid using WD40 on your bearings, unless you are going to grease them or put bearing oil in them afterwards. The reason is that I think WD40 works as a solvent; to solvate the grease or bearing oil in your bearings. The result being that your bearings are now lubricated with a little bit of wd40 instead of what they originally had. It works ok for a little bit, but for whatever reason <insert theory here> it only works for a little bit. Then your bearings are dry, and sure to disintegrate soon.

i never threadlock mine and haven't had them come off. they're the same type of attachment as 8th scale wheels and i never used threadlock on them either. also, if you guys don't know, you don't need to buy prolines's 23mm wrench. you can get a 23mm socket from sears for $5.49 http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes&vertical=TOOL&pid=00944240000&subcat=Sockets

i don't know if anyone posted this or not. you could try using 2 nuts. It would suck when you have to change tires but could solve your prob.
I just re-read through and saw that you are having the problems with the inside nut. Have you tried to purchase new locknuts? The nylon does wear out after repeated loosening and tightening.
