Hello To All Those Hardcore Race Fans, I'm Needing Some Help With A Project That I'm Working On. I'm Looking To Bring A Different Type Of Race Scheme To The Track To Catch Eyes. My Project Plan Came From The 70's Cartoon Speed Buggy. I Can't Seem To Find Anything Close To Resemble That Type Of Body Style For An R/c Truck. Can Anybody Out There Help? Better Yet, Can Anyone Out Here Give Me Some Ideas On Some Type Or Paint Scheme To Use That Will Be Different Look At As Well As Being Fun To Watch In Action? My First Thought Was From The Comic Book Character, Silver Surfer. What Else????!!!!

Have you ever seen that show wacky races on cartoon network when you were a kid , why not somthing like that purple guys car , but what you could do is go into a nerd store aka comic book store and look at some off their comics and see somthing cartoony and custom make a body . I can help you with some instructions on making a body , 1 get a block of surf board foam then carve it into a specific shape , and then get it molded with lexan , have you ever seen myth busters they have amachine that does it I think it is called a vacuum sealer but it lays lexan on a thing and heat lamps heat the plastic tell it molds completly over the item .

YES, I'VE SEEN WACKY RACES WHEN I WAS A KID. BUT THE MYTHBUSTERS, NO. I HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT AS FAR AS SURF BOARD FOAM. NEVERTHELESS, I'M STILL INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE OF HOW TO MAKE MY OWN BODY. THANKS FOR THE RELPY!!

Okay well I got that info from wathcing the discovery channel but surf board foam you take it and you cut it with a saw of some sort , and cut it in the shape you want then sand it down and last you get it vacuumed sealed . That are some of the steps I heard from freinds .
