HEY!!
I need a little of help. Right now I have a MGT 4.6 SE and I love it dearly, BUT, I need a more powerful engine. any recomendations are helpful, $500 spending limit, braking (stopping) NEVER a problem anymore. I was thinking of getting an axial .28 when they come out or Team Orion wasp .28

How about that new OS .30 engine? It is supposed to have 3hp but OS often underrates their engines.

here is the Picco .27, very cheap, but very good engine (under $200)

The RCCA dyno test on the OS30 was a disappointment. It didn't live up to the rating OS gave it. They rated it at 3.0 and RCCS dyno said 2.72. Expectations were for more not less.
I think its overpriced for what it delivers. If it was in line with the 27Picco price range, that would be one thing, but costing an extra $75 - not hardly.
I've heard rumors there's a V-Spec type 28 inthe works, but have seen nothing definitive. I'm looking at an EB mod RB28, I'm not planning on waiting.

thisis the only one I've seen.

If you have a 500 dollar spending limit you could get a NovaRossi 528XRP, which is one of the most powerful engines in the world.

The wasp 26 is made by picco and its a great engine the 28 is made by toki and its crap! if you have $350 Get the new rb 28 anything by rb is world class!

PICO 27 without a doubt.
Tonys hobbies La Puente Ca. $175.00.
Engine is amazing! And for the price, you simply can not beat it. You could buy two, and still have money left over.
I dropped one in my Savage, and the truck will flip over backwards when it hits second gear. Great engine, holds tune, more power than you can use.

bring any RC cars you have (gas powered) and we'll see who can jump his RC car higher, faster, and farther (2 out of 3 wins). Loser has to replace all the broken parts!!!
(now you can see why i'm broke, LOL)

Lrp 28 spec 3. Awesome motor, good powerband, easy to tune. Cane get them for 169 at www.hobbypeople.net or 169 minus 20 at tower, but they are backordered most places.
