We just received 2+ inches of snow here in Central VA. Looking forward to seeing what my MGT will do in it. It is still dirty from the last run and needs a good cleaning. God I love an air compressor, makes them look almost like new... anyway I will try and post some pics at the least and hopefully a short video or 2 later on today. My little olympus digicam only takes 15 sec .mov files. I will try and convert them to mpg.

Cool, an MGT in Central VA. I grew up around there. I bet it would be fun in that area. I've run my MGT in the snow here once - thats all the snow we've had since I got the truck two years ago.

Ok here we go... had a blast this morning. Be nice on my amateur video taking. Using a 5 yr old olympus digicam, and my Dad was driving. I actually built a ramp out of snow later on, pretty wild... Sorry too for the large video size and short runtime. Best I could do for now, hope you have broadband... http://users.cwsva.net/corywhitlow/Public/

I didn't do anything, mine is completely stock... so far... I do however take it to the shed after every run and use the air compressor to blow all the snow and water off, especially around the electronics. We actually prolly got around 3-5 inches in some places. It is melting like crazy now so I think it's time to bash a little more... :D :D :D

I bet you could pack it down being that deep and make a pretty cool temp track, with some 'killer' jumps... :D

Well I don't blame you, I had reserved thoughts about it too. But the temptation overpowered that and it just kept going and going. The electronics, especially battery box and receiver are sealed pretty tight. I checked them after every run. But I also would never let the packed snow melt on it either. Took an air compressor and blew off any snow build up, and made sure the electronics were bone dry too. I even had my TT SSK out in it. I thought for sure that would break being most all the electronics are not covered up, but it kept going also. That being said don't hunt me down if I convinced you to give it a run and it breaks... :D

Snow would be fun. We might get some freezing rain this weekend. If so, I'll have to see how my MGT SE handles it!

We had a little bit of ice this morning but I was too much of a wuss to get out and run the MGT. It's so much more comfortable sitting in front of the fire place with a laptop.

I just took my Savage out in the snow here in CA we had last weekend and she performed well. My only problem i had was the snow got up in the clutch area and just started to spin with no movement of the truck. I just kept gassing it and shoving it with my foot and finally she took off again. Ran fine after that. Next snow storm i will get some pics and video.
