The first alarm that also serves as a Lithium battery tuning device!
Belleville, IL, February 8th, 2006:
PFM Distribution is proud to announce the latest in Lithium Alarm technology.
Features Include:
• Auto-detection of 2-4 Cell Lithium packs
• Short, instantaneous warning of heavy voltage depression at 3.15V/cell
• 5 Second Warning of potential pack damage due to voltage depression or capacity depletion at 2
seconds of 3.05V/cell
• 60 minute timer alarm that sounds constantly until pack is unplugged or 3.2V/cell is reached.
This is for those who forget to unplug their battery packs after use.
• External Red LED with 6” lead to allow for optimal viewing placement
• External Piezo Alarm with 6” lead to allow for optimal audio placement
• Control Module Size: 13/16” Wide by 11/16” long by 1/8” thick utilizing 100% surface mount
technology
• Piezo Buzzer: 1-1/8” diameter, 3/4” tall w/6” lead
• LED: 3mm w/6” lead
• Retail price: $29.99 USD
• The alarm will be interfaced between the speed controller and speed controller power input plug
(not on the battery pack itself)
• Free lifetime software upgrades if the software is ever revised (postage at customer expense)
This alarm will work for:
• ANY Brushed or Brushless Speed Controllers without LVC (Low Voltage Cut-Off) or with
improper LVC
• Car/Truck/Boat Receiver pack warning device
• Aircraft Ignition pack warning device
• Transmitter Power Pack warning device
• Any conceivable place a 2-4 cell lithium pack could be utilized, but at present can’t due to lack of
proper low voltage cut-off or warning.
