Hi all, I've raced touring cars for a few years but have become bored with it and bought a TNX. I want to learn to jump it without breaking everything on the first day. Does grabbing the brakes mid-air do anything like make the nose go down or the tail go down? Any tips would be appreciated.

Well im not sure with a monster truck ( i think it would be the same but a monster truck would be more touchy in the air ) but with my buggy i go up to the jusmp with power on and only let off when im in the air. If the nose is going down give it throttle until the front end is where you want it and if your front end's to high you have two options if your high enough you can backflip by holding on the throttle or tap the brakes, tapping th brakes will bring the front wheels down just don't land with the throttle on you will wreck your diffs.

Kawasakirider is correct; You adjust your attitude in the air by using the throttle. Monster Trucks (MT's) are worse since they have so much more rotating mass (i.e. hugh wheels and heavy tires) and require constant adjustment while airborne. Start out all jumps as singles and then move to doubles and triples as your confidence improves. Try putting heavy weight oil in your shocks since this will dampen your landing on a poorly executed jump. Believe me, you will have plenty of these when your learning.

brake checking in the air makes a huge difference on my Savage X.
