I traded a boat for an RC truck. I fired the motor up today and it starts fine. But if I give the motor full throttle it does rev up but the truck want move. I don’t know if the rpm’s are to low to engage the clutch. I am new to the truck world and will edit this tomorrow with more details on make and model. I just thought if some one had a quick check that I can do.

It can be a couple of things the linkage could set up wrong ,it could be stripped gears or the clutch spring is broken.

is there any books worth my money to get to read up on this. I understand the motor part but the clutch and shocks are new to me.
