If your LHS can get Kyosho parts, go for the Giga Crusher. I'd say the MTA4 (MGT) is probably be the better overall truck, but no one has a Giga Crusher, so why not be different? It's a cool truck...and that's not a bad price for the RTR.

I noticed that Kyosho's Giga Crusher DF, SF, LE, and the RTR is not so popular in the US. I mostly go to US based R/C forums. Whenever I seach for this truck, European website always comes out and needs to be translated because it is not an english site. Any reasons for showing no love?

I've got a giga DF...i say get the DF kit while it is still around. Add HPI spider diffs, 777 rear shocks and some nice boat pipes and you have a solid truck. Although the RTR is a great price and it wouldn't be difficult to add a second .28 among the other mods mentioned. As for getting kyosho parts...easy as pie...

From what I hear, the Giga is sort of a novelty truck that, although it shows Kyosho's ability to stuff a couple of powerhouses into a single truck, it doesn't really handle off road stuff very well, and it isn't that fast on the flat roads either. I have had a good reaction to the AE MGT though. Sweet truck it is! he he he he he

I absolutely love my AE MGT. And now that it has an Axial Racing .32 in it. What a sweet ride !
