Hi All,

I was considering purchasing the plans to the Swift, designed by Andy Lennon, and was wondering if anyone had any experience building his designs?

Thanks in advance

kaelys, hi, I have not built any of Andy's designs but I have edited his construction articles in the past. basically, Andy has solid aerodynamic designs built with basic materials and hardware. If you can build an Ugly Stick, or a Kaos, you'll easily be able to build one of his designs. Straight balsa sheet fuselage sides with triangle stock in the corners for rounding the cross sections. Wings using typical ribs and spars for strong D-tube construction. Andy's models are original and all fly great!

Thanks Gerryy! I'm a big fan of your work!

I read Mr. Lennon's book about aerodymics and design, and it inspired me to get involved with scratch building and design. I'm looking forward to getting my Swift plans!

Glad to be of some help. You'll find the plans nicely detailed and not hard at all to understand. If you do have questions, just let me know!

Hello,

I recently purchased the plans to the Swift and would like to know if there are any construction pictures or any images that are availble to help give a better 3-d perception of this design. Any help would be grateful.

The plan's FSP number is the month and year of the magazine issue that the article was first published.... for example: FSP10961 would be October 1996. the 1 at the end is for the number of plans in that issue.
