This just in. We received this great looking 45cc 4-stroke gasoline engine from RC Showcase. it looks very cool and we'll have a video of it running online when we get it tested. Will also have a highlight of the engine in the next Thinking Big column.http://www.rcshowcase.com/html/engines/rcs45vt.html. check it out. A review is also coming soon in MAN.

Note the crank counterweight also, the magnet for the ignition pickup is located in the center of the crankpin.

engine head and cylinder form a Hemi combustion chamber. The piston sleeve is Nikasil plated. the piston is flat topped and has a lot of material removed from the skirt to save weight.

Wow. That is just awesome. I was looking for a new engine for my P47 Thunderbolt kit, do you know when this will be available?

Will it be like the Fuji 4-stroke, that you cannot installed inverted?

no, this 4-stroke can run inverted, upright or side mounted, no problem! This is because the oil is mixed into the fuel. The Fuji has a seperate oil sump and pump which must remain upright (or under postive G force) to operate properly!
Cheers,
