Here is a suggestion. Go to the HPI racing site and check out their forum. It has been up and running for a long time and most of your questions have already been answered there. They have a forum for track, HPI cars(all models), and Non-HPI cars(gas and electric). The also have a F.A.Q. with comparisons between gas and electric.

Nitro~Freek try this and just enter you state. It should provide you with a solid list of tracks in your area. http://www.rccaraction.com/info/rctrack_srch.asp

yea Nitro~Freek, i live about 30 mins south of Charleston, in Boone County, and i race in Nitro at the Nitro Shopping center, not a true track, but it a parking lot race, and it provides all the excitement.

mavrick0611 and Greg_Hager , i live in Mason County , and it is like a no mans land for nitro and electric rc cars , i dont really have all the money for the really nice and good nitro cars but , however i get a traxxas rustler or a kyosho st sport ep or something of that sort to start out on . then kinda work my way up . i am only 14 though , and my stepdad has a circle dirt track that he used to race gokarts on , but now i race at a track in ohio , and i am thinking about putting some great jumps and **** on it and making it better and have some friends come down and have the track not just a circle whith just jumps but ramp of one turns bank ment and have a little things there and re - enter the track , email me at t_grinstead @ hotmail . com and ill talk more about how wv needs more tracks
