is that boat a surface drive or submerged? i would guess that power is on par with a nitro hammer if not slightly more, due to the similar engine size. try an x427, or x430 if it's submerged. that might get you started anyway.

Here I am! :D
Try Octura props X-437, 438, 637 and 440 as any of those will do. Steve Vacarro at Offhore Electrics has a nice carbon fiber 440 prop that is suposed to be the ticket as it doesn't need sharpening and balancing but the will break if they hit something like debris in the water.
Yes, you got a deal in the boat.
If you have any other questions, post them here and I'll see if I can help you.

ignore what i said on that one. ron knows better. i didn't realize that the .16 could swing that much blade.

It surprises me also that they can! I knew from previous experience of the stock prop that it was junk. Now we've got these engines cranking over props that some .21's are barely turning.
Look at boats like the Shockwave 36. That wimpy .32 is cranking props that are more for a decent .45. Explain it? Not me!

The Octura props in those sizes are only made with Beryllium Copper.

Been there BD! I had to take one when I got my anxiety disorder to see if it was physical or mental. I was asked around 300 questions. What scared me was the people that would answer yes to some of them!
It was a chemical imbalance caused from one of my heart attacks. I admit to being a little off the wall but nothing that they'd lock me up in a rubber room for.

Yes. Being a suface drive is why it is able to turn the larger props. If it was a sub-surface drive, you'd only be able to turn an X-435 maximum.
