Hi guys..i'm planning to install a brushless set up in my 4wd buggy...i was told that the Aveox brushless system is pretty good..someone wants to sell me the Aveox H160rc and 1409/2y 1/8 shaft motor..is it any good? Was told that Cliff Lett had some incredible speed running this set up. Is it fast and easy to set up? What other brushless systems would you guys recommend? Appreciate some good advice guys..Thanks :)

lol i remember the old Aveox brushless back in the day when it was that or a hacker based system.
To be honest the motor may be ok but i would not touch an old controller with a barge pole as they have come so far in recent times and they are very cheap.
remember that cliff let used that to run very high voltages and it was like 8 years ago or something like that theres definatly better tech out now.
personally i recomend that for great 6 cell performance something like one of the gtb systems or a feigoa 380c 6,7, or 8s with the mtroniks pro would work great.

Unless you have a 1/8th scale buggy I wouldn't recommend running this systems. the 1409/2y is very slow on 6 cells and their controllers are better suited to flying airplanes. They have a very funny feeling to them, almost like they are lagging behind what you input is. I have a l160 with the RC7. The motor is okay, output shaft is very soft and has broken twice.
