Not to set on toes here, But Glenn has decided to do racing on Sunday. I would like to see you guys come out from time to time. The crowd is a little faster at Rosewood but don't let that scare you off, this is a big help to get anyone going slow up to speed. I am willing to help anyone get up to running speed......and I know other would as well.....this would include setting up ones car and radio gearing and Tires, you would have to be early at the track. This is not normal in a competitive sport.....but I like a good race.

I have enjoyed racing with you guys and seeing a lot of growth in TC. My main focus was about having fun......Winning was not my goal, my reflection are on my time sheets.....

Ofcourse carpet is laid down...but if the weather is nice we will race outside.....zoom zoom.

For those that are interested in dates and time please, PM Jmac or myself.....that we could make arrangments for a crowd or surface area.

Once again we are trying to get unclaimed Pro's, team racers and sponsor racers to come out....You can learn alot from these guys,I have.

Andone know where I could get the HUDY grease without having to pay to ship it too? Or something similar? Apparently my car doesnt accelerate until its tracking dead straight because of some wonderful axle vibrations.

I will be out there tomorrow as long as the weather holds up. However, I'm not sure about next weekend. I may have to work that Sunday or that Saturday. Not sure which. If I have to work Sunday, I'll be racing in Virginia again. If I work Saturday, I'll be in Fayetteville.

I had these pack for about 2months...and they have been race only at Fayetteville with you guy. So about 8-10 Cycles

I am changing packs because My Ray chassis has a spacing clause. So I am going with smaller cells.

For the spur, my friend wants to run 64pitch. So using the formula to convert 48pitch size to 64pitch size, a 72 48pitch spur is the same size as a 96 64pitch spur. (72 tooth 48 pitch) 72 ÷ 1.5 = 48 x 2 = 96.

I think the trees have it out for my real car. Last year the tornado in Goldsboro took out my rear window on my Mazda. Today with the strong winds, our small crab apple tree out front fell right behind my car! Luckily it didn't touch it at all. Maybe they just don't want me parking in that spot or something. I dunno. If I had parked a foot further back, I'd have scratches all over the rear end of my car. Went to wash some dishes. Looked in the back yard and our apple/pear tree whatever had just up rooted. 2 trees in one day. You guys get any strong winds today out that way?

Wished you needed weights when I had my XRAY. I had a pair of them I would never have used...

I don't use those weights right now. I use this under my Lipo. http://www.teamfusionracing.blogspot.com/

Basically, I use the stainless steel plate that fits in the battery slots. Then on top of that I use the lead weight I posted above. Then the battery sits on top of that. So now the car is balanced left to right without adding the round XRay weights. (No, I'm not selling them, they are still very useful! I have 4 sets :D). Just use carpet tape to stick the lead plate to the stainless steel plate. Carpet tape is as thin as paper and sticks pretty good. You can find it in the hardware section of Target or Walmart. With this setup (if you've seen my car Sunday) your car has a cleaner appearance without all the weight on top of the battery, or sticking to the side of the battery. It's all hidden under the lipo pack. Plus the weight is down low for a lower center of gravity. Even lower than using 6cell packs. ;) If you want the XRay weights, you can also try StormerHobbies or AmpDraw.

hey guy I am selling my Speed Passion Bl ESC...I only use this control once and that was at the KING. I chance would have it the on off switch was hit by another race and broke the toggle. But thats an easy fix plus I have on on off switch I coulc throw.......if you do not know this Bl ESC allow you to change the timing on your brushless motor and you can program it from a hand held....They sale for $190 for a once used ESC I am selling it for $160. They are ROAR approved any one interested in the Lastest BL speed do lMK.

Going back to Haye's again sometime this week to get the stuff to rebuild my motor as well as get some new gears to test out. The bullet plugs that go in your lipo's must be getting weak and lost contact. After I picked it up all I did was wiggle those connectors and it worked perfect. :mad:
