great it looks like we will have 2 new ETC drivers this week too I just helped one build his today so the class is getting bigger and bigger next season will be awsome for sure plus Sundays weather look great

now chris....why you wanna tempt me like that? you know i tend to get curious. still a toss-up between yall & overcash. the 12L got wrung by the neck last nite! only "little" car in a "big" car main. in all honestly, i think that's the hardest and most fierce i've ever driven that car! trying to push those heavy TC's around was a loosing battle....so i just drove under and around them. :D. was a hard race and the car shows it! LOL. but the little skeeter IS a fighter , so if you want me down...and the weather's nice enough then.......put me in (channel 61/SYNTH: 12th scale mod/19/open(RWB)/stock).
just so you know.....i aim to KILL that little car just so i can rebuild it ok?...fine. oh, and can you bring some .020 front springs? i'll bring the panama jack!! HAHA!! maybe even an old-skool TC.

chris...no 12th scale at the moment. you'd NEVER guessed what could have happened to the servo! LOL but i'll still take that stuff if you're still G_VING it away. LOL. as you know i have the servo shoo-gooed down (JR 368ds). when i pryed it loose from the chassis, the horn was still attached to the tie-rods, and the case was in my hands. what a lick!!! there's also some fraying on the chassis at the body mounts. (sigh). mooooore resin pleeeezzzee!!. oh well, enough crying. if i don't post a no-go in the next 12 hours..........look for me in the 1pm range K!?

Speaking of my LST,, I just found a motor, that is rated at 750 watts ,,,, that is 1HP,, it is currently running with a 375 watt motor,,,hmmmmmm,,,,here revo revo, come on boy, here revo revo roflmao!!!!!hahahaha and it's quite reasonably priced
$5 entry and set-up will be about 11:30ish with racing at 2
We usually have about 5 or 6 Nitro TC running
hope to see many people there

It was a heck of a day for broken parts, I broke my pro3 twice, put it away, almost broke Tasha's, and said that's enough for one day, I noticed a lot of other parts being broke too. Oh well, that's racing.....

Well, I had a one of those days also. I broke an arm. I hit that corner so hard that it knocked my batteries loose. I think that the darkness was playing with my eyes. Ernie, broke about 3 arms himself. It's funny how we are close to the end of the season and everyone is breaking their cars. Well that's racing.

I MIGHT consider selling it locally, but not to someone over the internet, and not getting a chance to even see it again (which automatically crosses Fred off the list of potential customers)...

Just basically looking for a little extra to fund a ETC for next year. :) if i can cash out my book slip for this semester, it might be sooner than that.

John, I have a JR xs2i radio and rx I can let go cheap, came with something I bought. Also a esc , a "Tazer" not a forward only, but would get you running.

I would love to race with some other RCers, where are you guys setting up at? I was just thinking about setting up a PVC track in a parking lot near there, maybe the burger king or some place will let us get together there on some weekend.

We race in the Ponderosa shopping center. It's right off Yadkin road, near the Blockbuster. you should be able to see all the tents and cones on the other side of the parking lot.

I think I got Fred's car absolutely rolling. Once I figured out how to adjust the diffs without taking half the car apart, I got it moving pretty decently. It has awesome on-power steering and the brakes dont make the car loop around; it drives a heck of alot better than my old XRAY. Alll it needs is stiffer rear springs according to this setup manual I have...
Could be the velcro and Dean's I put on it, I dunno.

what kind or rcs ussually show up in the run what you brung category?
i would love to get a 1/18th race going on in that like some rc18ts and mini ts. i know a number of people run mini ts from hayes hobby shop.
maybe next time i go in ill bring a flyer to post in there.
we have a mini class and they are almost as fast as the ETC as far as laps run if you have a mini bring it out they are a blast to run
ok guys I am going to bring mt 18b out to try and seel this week it is ready to run with a momba brushless system in it. it is the factory team version and has foam tires and the original tires on it it comes with a mag sport radio, 3 packs of batteries (1 pack is a lipo) and a box of spair parts I ran it a few times in my living room mainly to set the speedo but thats about it I am looking to get $215 for it but open to offers let me know if you would be interested or come see me Sunday also going to post on the for sale thread but would prefer to sell local

Oh yes, this is most definetely an a-main car. Would it win? Depends on which one of us is driving it. :D j/k but all it needs now is some real-world testing. And some charged batteries (hayes hasnt even touched the batts and evx I left up there, and without the adapters I was supposed to be getting too, I cant charge em myself).

heh, thanks. :D I did go kind of over-budget with the car though. I might need to borrow a charger too, thanks to it (Maybe even have to flip the car :eek: ). I did find out his screenname on RCTEch with some creative googling (after the auction...couldve saved 30 bucks), so I can stalk him if need be. :D
BTW, the reason I was looking at the car before the main was because it looked kind of funny when it tracked straight. I think the rear of the body sits kind of lopsided; I hope it wasnt my doing.
oh ok well let me know what you need to barrow when will the car get here?

Yeah Bob, I'm going to fire my mechanic. He was suppose to resolder the lead when he got to the track. I was having one of my best runs of the day, nice lead, then off comes the wire. That's when I realized what I was suppose to do. Oh well, I'll be back.

Actually Chris, I was driving my car.. but,, I smeared a specially formulated aerodamnamic enhancing , drag reducing and downforce enhancing potion all over my truck body. This means that it thought it was as slick as a fighter jet, and had a vacuum cleaner sucking the air out from under it. Secret stuff this aerodamnamics... :rolleyes: :wow:

John I have a integy charger, it does everything but motor run in, max charge is 6.5 amps a really nice charger if you are interested. I also have a 12 amp power supply if any one is looking.

well...my carpet car came today in all its mismatched screw glory (bet i could shave an ounce by getting screws of the right length :D )... And also, just like the other xray I had, its missing those little clip things that hold the wheel hubs in place.
car did come with a hundred dollars worth of NIP spares (i counted, really like 120) and seems to be very smooth, though.

Well..ordered some o-rings, so the flopping driveshafts shouldnt be a problem... :D I get some servo mounts, extra screws, and those cool body mounts sometime next week. Guess this wasnt too disasterous after all.
Except for the whole "where is the Explorer 2 I bought last week" thing.

Happy Turkey Day!!! Hey Kanye, I usually drive one of Manual's 18T's. He has mod motors in his. He did mention that he was going to get a brushless system for one. But I have won with a slower motor also. It's how consistant you are when you drive them. I love E-Tc, but those minis are a blast to drive.

oh,sry. 2..maybe 3 new blue packs. guess 4200's. not totally sure what'll get thru the next 3 months.had my doors blown of by both 38's and 42's so i'll let you decide that one.(you know how i like to mix it up near the front). my plans are to run 4 cell stock(ugh!),mod ,and a little bit of 4 cell oval (mod....19 turn). thanx again. P.S. i got the trailing blocks on the car, but it doesn't feel as "direct" as it did. but definately smoother! pre-shate it!

It was good, we went to Golden corral and had a good dinner, got to flirt with the waitress and then,,, they cleaned up. All of this for less than $15, $17 counting tip. Couldn't have done that at home.how was yours D?

I made it back home. My dad showed up a couple minutes after everyone left. I think what killed the battery was me leaving the door open for like 6-7 hours, not so much charging a pair of batteries at 4 amps.
and chris, that pinion indeed was off. it's 7 teeth too big for that spur i had on.
Well...ill be out there next week. I have to make the a-main at least once before the car goes back on ebay or something. :D

Hey John, you will get there. :D I watched your car during the quailfiers and it looked good. You were turning some fast laps. The track layout was pretty challenging, you had to be smooth to be fast.

Small world isn't it?You remembered me.So when do you start up again.I'm working on getting my MTX-3 ready for next season.Do you guys run a road course layout?I can maybe bring 2 or 3 peeps with me when I come up there..We will all run Nitro TC..How is the track as far as traction?I'm just getting an idea of how I need to setup my car..

well the tires that the nitro guys are using I bekieve are 35's or 30's dont remeber off hand maggot you can help him we are racing year round weather permitting rain, snow, or just too cold of weather like low 40s or so, we will be out there next Sunday track set-up at 12 racing at 2 pm hope to see you we need some more blood in nitro tc

Mark,we've been running 35's,but since it's been cooler,my HPI RS4evo stock tires have been just as good without the wear of foams.Look foward to yall coming down,we have some good people and good racing.Tommy.
