Hey all,
I am in the process of converting my Aeromarine Avenger w/ a Marine Specialties Stage 1 Zenoah 260 to run on alcohol :D . Should have the carb by the end of the week. Does anyone know if synthetic oil (Amsoil) is compatible with methanol, or should I be running a standard oil? The reason I ask is I mixed up a gallon of methanol with Amsoil Dominator Syn. race oil at 25:1 as the recommended ratio, but the oil seems to seperate from the fuel rather quickly :confused: . Makes me nervous to say the least! Should I run conventional oil instead as maybe it is more compatible with methanol?
