Parking Lot Racing on Saturday, May 13!!!
Ok.... Racing season is back upon us!
Next Parking Lot Race will be on Saturday, May 13th. Track set-up starts at 8am, practice at about 9 and racing begins at 10.
We will be trying a new and larger 60 feet by 100 feet track layout this
season, so the race will be a completely new set-up. We need anyone
that can get there early to help with set-up.
Membership fees are due at the first race to help cover our fees with the City
of Asheville, and new track material. Race fees will remain the same, $8.00 for
members, $12.00 for non members. Kids 15 and under still race free! Memberships
are $20.00.
Racing again will be held at the Asheville Recreation Park on Gashes Creek
Road, just off Swannanoa River Road in East Asheville, next to the WNC Nature
Center.

planning on it, but is mother nature, that is the question.. anybody for easley this weekend 5-6-06? a little mod racing in asheville on the high bite, and stock in easley... gonna be a good month for me...

I cant make Easley this weekend, I'll email the brothers about it.
We were talking about stock truck racing in Easley on Friday nights, maybe in a few weeks.....

had a great time yesterday. nice to see the crowd growing and the new layout was fun. sorry i had to show up late and leave early. that won't be the case in the future. looking forward to next time. it was also fun to see the 1/12th scales.. and stadium trucks!! thanks to everyone for their hard work.

It was a great first race of the season. 7 Touring Cars, 4 Stadium Trucks, and the two 1/12th scale cars made for a great day of racing.
I'm looking forward to the next race on May 27!!!

Yeah.... I heard about it.... can't wait to see it! BTW.... Brendan kicked tail with the T4 at Outlaw RC, gave everybody a run. Not bad for a guy that was still putting electronics in a truck during the first heat, and going out in the second heat with zero practice in a new truck......
Now we have the never ending battle with the Dillow Bros., Losi vs Associated.

that truck was setup to be VERY easy to drive.. lots of rear bite and a mild on power push... i have never in my life had a 2wd offroad that easy to drive... you almost can't get it bent out of shape.... glad to hear he likes it.. i just wish i had gotten to drive it more... i am keeping my b4 till further notice, but can't imagine when i will get to make it out there.. we'll see..
