hammer ep vs traxxas blast

hi im new to boats and was wondering which was better.you know like which one is faster which one is better built and which one handles the best.

I don't own either boat. I have seen plenty of both kinds run though. I think the Hammer to be the better deal. Similar in speed when stock. The very narrow hull design of the Blast limits its options. n.h.schmidt

I agree with Ned, the Hammer is the better boat. The Traxxas outdrive is fragile and complex, and promotes hooking and spin-outs when extra power is added. The Hammer is easier to hop up while maintaining reliability, and it handles better. Neither is a true race boat and neither will ever attain 40 mph reliably, but the Hammer would be my choice of the two for sport use, for the reasons stated.

It depends on the cells you use, but expect between 14 and 16 mph stock new.
