I have the SE truck. I run a Feigao 230-21S on 3 cell lipoly. I began testing with a L can since I had a few customers running a 380 motor. After blowing the tires off a 3/4 throttle, I changed my mind. Even the 21S gets about undriveable above 80% throttle. I am using the Quark Pro Car 33A esc. The Mamba should work as well, and I can do combos with either. You will need to run the ball diff tight anywhere with traction. Otherwise, it's holding up better than my RC18T.

Feigao 230-21S - is this motor 2.3mm shaft? Are u using stock spur which is metric?

I run the stock gears. I did just gear down to the 13T pinion because it is too fast at 16/45. I may try 13/49 next so that I can use all the throttle.
