Lehner 10 series for rc18t

I recently got an associated rc18t FT and would like to try one of these motors. I know they are more expensive than others out, but with the Lehner quality you can't go wrong, besides i want something different and would like opinions on a couple of questions.

1. Which size would you recomend? 1010, 1015 or 1020

2. Would a mamba or Quark run this motor without overload?

This will be a basher/ racer with 6 cell or 2 or 3s lipo so i need something that could run both, so my last question is, What wind should i go with?

I think you should get this motor http://www.bk-electronics.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=35_147_53&products_id=674 with a quark 33amp controller, on a 3s li-po u can do about 60-70mph but y don't u go with the dinimite c4 9200 kv motor, it's bigger and has more rpm.

After doing more looking, I think that the 12turn in a 1015will suit me well. I'm not a speed addict I just want a one of a kind (at this point) truck that uses a different motor than everybody else, besides this motor will better handle a 3s lipo than a 8000 kv motor

Feigao 230-21S......24mm can.......runs fine with the Quark. The Lehner will be the most power in that size range. I have a 230-L can I did some testing with that was just rediculous. It needs a little chassis cutting to work though.

Glad to see you get into the discussion Starluck. I just found out the track opening up in my area has a NO LIPO rule so i will be running 6-7 cells, the motor had a RPM/volt of 6667 so i think it would be bestwith the low cell count. As said in the first post i wanted something different and hadn't been tried before, everyubody has a mamba, everybody has a tekin and soon everybody will have a Quark/hacker, so i thought i would try a Lehner 10 series. thanks for the input, if any of the gurus here have an opinion I'd like to hear them (not knocking you Starluck, Just want to hear other opinions)
