silly question how do i install a slide carb on my old 1st gen maxx. is there a link or conversion kit or something. I'm not puting in a 3.3 but rather just changing carbs on a megatech .16.

i think there is a screw on the side of the of the block or at the bottom of the carb most likly a allen screw remove that and twist the carb off.

As long as you have the carb these two things should be all you need to make the conversion to a slide carb.

Traxxas sells a conversion kit to update the rotary linkage to a slide carb linkage. the only information I could find on the web site is here,

I have an orginal T-Maxx .15 as well, I made that conversion a while back, it was a complete kit from traxxas. It involves drilling holes in the chassis for the bellcrank to operate the slide carb. I belive the part number for the kit is 4900.
