I think this is perfect for my trex heli running a 3cell lipo pack. I have to check to see if the align 35 controller has LVC but im thinking it does. Ive been on the hunt for this or something similar - I saw one that had to be put together from parts and seemed like a hassle so for 20 bucks - this seems awesome! Good find - gonna see if my LHS can get these ASAP!

Could use one on the vendetta too :)

Any pics on how this interfaces with the controller?

would be nice if they offered this with a smaller alarm.. I know the volume may not be AS loud, but fitting that under the shell of my zx5 is gonna be tight...

I don't think it's a voltage cut-off. It notifies you if your battery is close to being discharged below a safe level.

The device solders onto the power input plug on your speed controller.

It does not interfere with the operation of your vehicle, it simply monitors voltage depression of the pack.

This was the smallest alarm we could find with appropriate audible output at distance. Any alarm can be wired onto the LOA that has it's own driver built in (the LOA gives full pack voltage to the alarm).

The alarms are availble via Tower Hobbies, or any local hobby shop who buys from Great Planes or HRP. You (or your local hobby shop) may also purchase them directly from us: http://pfmdistribution.com/secure/shop/item.asp?itemid=203
