I have just bought a Savage Limited and the stock servo's suck so I got a Hitec HSC-5998TG for the steering but i'm not sure what servo to get for the throttle. I want the best servo I can get as I don't want to have to upgrade later and my LHS has Hitec servo's on special so Hitec is preferred. I do a bit of bashing and racing with my Savage.

all you really need to do is move the "stock" steering servo to the throttle. no need to buy a throttle servo.

Turns out my steering servo produces 88 oz-in torque (a JR unit), while my throttle makes a whopping 162 oz-in torque (also JR). I got the steering one first and just got the throttle, so I think a swap is in order?!

yes id do a swap, you dont need that much torque for throttle, the 88 oz is fine for throttle, and the 162 oz is real nice for steering
