Hey fellow brushless fans, I know a lot of folks in here are into touring cars and like Novak products so I thought this might be a good place to ask this question:

I am currently building up a TC4 to race, and I've never installed a brushless system before. I'm currently at the stage of assembly where I'm staring at the GTB itself, my receiver, and my (regular size) servo and trying to decide just exactly how to cram all this in between the motor and the front of the car! My chassis is the tub chassis not the factory team one, so I don't have a top plate to stick anything on (though I'm starting to wonder about improvising one).

I would LOVE to see photos of how any of you more experienced folks have installed a GTB system in a TC4 (or TC3 which would be very similar). I'm trying to be "smart" about how things get lined up and what's near what considering radio noise, the spinning shaft, etc. I have a digital servo (JR 9000S), a DSM receiver (Spektrum), and a 4.5 motor if that helps.

Thanks in advance for sharing your photos! :)

I don't have a TC but I have a couple of friends that have a GTB and a TC4. The GTB is right up next to the motor and then the reciever is on it's side inbetween the GTB and the steering servo. That's actually how I've seen all cars set up GTB or not.

I had problems with the ESC next to the reciever or the antenna being in the center of all the hate, so I moved it around. It has been excellent like this. Don't know if you have the length, but it seems to work.

I appreciate the suggestion, but I don't think I'll be converting my TC4 to a Losi powertrain anytime soon so I can't really place my electronics like that! ;)
