But I'm coming back with some questions! I haven't driven my Stadium Maxx in a while, but now that it's nice out my friend and I decided to make a video with my Maxx, elec. 4-tec, Nitro Rusty, and his elec. 4-tec. I'm wanting to uprade for durability right now on my maxx, not worried about weight too much. Here are the current upgrades I can think of off the top of my head:
-RPM Bulkhead Braces
-RPM Front Skid/Wear Plate
-RPM Head Protector
-HPI 1200mah Hump Pack
-4wd Conversion
-Yellow Aluminum Bumpers
-Hitec 645mg Steering Servo
-Associated Aluminum Threaded Shocks
-Yellow Body Mounts
-Duratrax Failsafe

That's about it I think..My latest problem has been stripping fricken spur gears, that's the main reason I stopped driving it. I stripped one, replaced it, thought I had the mesh perfect (and I did) but once I started jumping it stripped. Then I replaced it and made sure the slipper wasn't too tight, but then it was too loose. It stripped again...then I kinda put it aside for the winter.

What I'm looking to do is get rid of this spur stripping problem altogether. I used to HATE the idea of a metal spur gear, but now I'm really considering this- http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBJC6&P=ML
How often do people actually strip clutch bells with these things? I mean if it's less than if the spur were plastic, I'm willing to do it.

The next thing I was looking at were RPM A-arms. I know this is usually the first thing that most bashers get, so I figure why the heck not.

I will be getting aluminum bulkheads, probably just up front to start.

Then the final things I'm considering are titanium turnbuckles and titanium hingepins. I've bent enough fricken hingepins...and I know RPM arms and aluminum bulkheads won't completely stop them from bending. What are the opinions on these?

Sorry, long post...but thanks for any opinions! :D

If your truck is put together right, the spur gears should be find. I had this problem awhile ago and you could have a screw loose in your motor mount. It causes your motor to shake when you hit a bump.

RPM is AWESOME  . Get it and you will never break an A-Arm for the rest of your life.

Titanium is my best friend. It doesn't snap. I replaced my pushrods, and they're awesome. I managed to bend one after ramming a basketball hoop going pretty fast, but there was no other damage to my truck. If you get them from Lunsford, they're guaranteed for life. I simply mailed it to them, and they sent it back.

Hope this helps, TJ (Revo)

I have a steel spur on my t-maxx for 2 years thru 4 gallons of fuel and i drove it w/ a broken engine mount for about an hour untill the other side broke w/ no problems. Rpm arms shatter like glass when its cold my buddy broke one by barly touching a pole @ about 50 degrees the same pole he rammed the day before @ 60 degrees.

Hmm, steel spur's looking good then. I want RPM arms because of the lifetime replacement plan too.

the RRP kit is a good choice... the slipper upgrade is awesome
