to switch from high to low gear or vise versa... I don't think there is any need to use the low gear though.

I removed mine but I believe you turn it clockwise for high. If you can't tell the differance between high & low you have other problems. You wont use low unless your climbing something. Put the forward only conversion in it and get rid of all that.

High gear it would go allot faster than low gear, on flat ground with low gear you would wheelie allot easier i suspect. In ow gear the motor would rev out faster and rev higher and you would still be going slower. I thought you could select the high and low gear on lst2 and lst on your transmitter???

Nope, and it becomes a pain to change it with the body on.
You can shift into reverse w/transmitter.

Believe it or not my lst2 operations guide as they call it doesn't say a thing about changing ranges. It shows the exploded view of the transmission and how to adjust the two speed other than that nothing.

No, it comes with high and low range, two speed trans with reverse. You have to buy the F.O.C. for $26.99 and you remove all but two gears in the trans and the servo for reverse and save all that weight plus your engine has less of a load on it. I run 40 series bow ties and before I did the conversion I lost my top end because of the shorter tire. during the conversion I fliped the two gears around and got my top end back. The F.O.C. imo make the truck alot better with great acceleration out of the turns. You can't use reverse in racing so why haul the extra crap around.

lst2 has the same trans as the lst... page 2 of the getting started guide will show you that clockwise will put you in high gear and counter clockwise will put you in low gear.
