I would like to get a tuned pipe for my revo 3.3. I like the traxxas resonator pipe, but it is on backorder. Is the trinity pipe good, I heard it is extremely loud and obnoxious. What about the dual exhaust pipes from tsais or rdlogics, do they make tuning any more difficult, would these pipes be more powerful than others b/c of the dual exhaust tips

Get the tmaxx fantom pipe
I had one on the 2.5 and it made a night and day difference.
plus, unlike carbon fiber and aluminum, it absorbs heat.. thus slightly cooler motor.
tons of power!!

Oh, check ebay.
don't pay a lot for it.
I got mine for 25 bucks new on ebay.

Astain - I don't think it's because it absorbs heat that the motor runs cooler. There really isn't much of a heat transfer going on between the two. It's just that aluminum and carbon fiber don't absorb the heat from the exhaust gases. The reason the motor runs cooler is because throwing on the steel pipe actually makes the motor run "rich". The hotter the pipe, the more efficiently it will work, therefore it will push the unspent fuel back into the motor. The thing is, steel is significantly heavier, and the Revo isn't exactly the heaviest monster on the planet.
I went for the Vantage Revo Pipe with manifold. I love it. Sounds incredible, and the performance was great too. I did crack where it connects to the manifold I will admit, but Vantage has great customer support. I got a response within a day and they'll be replacing my pipe for free. Honestly I'm not even sure if the crack goes all the way through...but hey free pipe right

Put some rtv sylicone sealant on it and keep it as a spare if u need it ever

I had to send it back. Not so sure RTV would hold up to the pressure that goes through the pipe though

If it holds a backplate with a leak and you put it on properly and put some more onto it i think it may hold for a while if you were in a jam but u had to send it back just don't land on the new one LOL
