View Full Version : should this gear on my LST be melted?

OK, so i drove my lst at the park when suddenly my clutch enables, fixed, but i just looked at the gear because when i was driving it didnt shift 1st gear the whole time any ideas if this has somethinng to do with it?

it is hard to tell what is going on there but obviously there shouldn't be anything melted.
I would get some replacement parts, check the drivetrain for binding, and assure the slipper is set correctly.

alright so i looked at it close and the clutch shoes are melted so i got a pair off ebay, but. My bearing in one of the gears are gone, so how do i change it, doesnt seem to come out.

O and what is the sliper, is it that screw at the end with a spring?
