I have a Tmaxx I bought last year from LHS. I removed the ez start and put in a pull start but I'm really starting to dislike pulling like a maniac at times :)
Just wondering if they make a starter box that works for Tmaxx? If so, what would you recommend?
Any info would be appreciated,

For what it's worth....
I've seen starter boxes on e-bay that were designed to work on MT's. They were odd looking things with the bump wheel sticking way up high. I don't know how/if they worked or what trucks they were for but I did see them once.
Personally I think a bump start is inconvient for bashing. Every time the truck dies you have to go get it and take it back to the starter to get it running.
My favorite starting system is the Traxxas ez-start. Yes, it has disadvantages (find a starting system that doesn't) but it is very convenient.
Another option would be to get a back plate that would accept a Roto start type system.
If you're having trouble starting a ps equiped engine then you more than likely have tuning issues. All my ps engines start on 4-5 pulls (including priming) when cold and 1 or 2 when hot. A ps engine will force you to learn to tune.

No, they were not for the Revo.
They were advertised for the T-Maxx I believe but it may have been for the Savage, I don't remember for sure. It had some wierd set up for the bump wheel that put it up 3" or 4" and the wheel was powerd by a belt from the motor in the box. It was a strange, jerry rigged set up that looked like more of a pita than anything else.

This pretty much explains what you can do with a t-maxx for starting options, besides ps. http://www.rctech.net/forum/archive/index.php/t-15904.html
I remember the Native Racing setup, but it seemed like a complicated and pricey alternative to pullstarting or the EZ-Start especially once EZ-Start 2 came out. Other than that, you're on to a full chassis makeover!
