Revo 3.3

What is the word on the Revo 3.3??? Is it better then the 2.5??

Can't say if it's better than the 2.5, because I never had the 2.5, but it's really sweet. The 3.3 is kinda of a pain to tune, but once you get it it's really amazing. It just keeps revving where other motors would stop. I can see the extended wheel base helping to keep the front wheels on the ground a bit more too

The 3.3 is a better deal, atleast better than the 2.5R. You get the extended wheelbase, which is great for racing. With that you also get the updated transmission case which is ready for the center diff and rear brake, which is just another sweet feature on the Revo. Then you get the new engine which makes more power. Although it is kinda finicky to tune, it isn't more difficult to tune than that darn 2.5R, which upsets me every time I go to run it. I mean, once it settles in on a mixture, it hauls butt, but it is a pain to get there. Makes me want to consider the OS .18tm, but I do like the high-revving aspect of the 2.5.

Yes and no. It certainly gives you more stability when it comes to launching and seems to be better over any "whoop" sections of the track. However, if you've got a tighter track with a lot of transitions you'll lay down faster lap times with the shorter wheelbase
