I have Villain electric and I enjoyed it in the sea for a little and now I want some more speed. I need a stylish ready to run nitro or gas boat that is capable of:
- Cool and close to realistic looks very important (best is Lambo for me)
- 30+ mph (Shockwave seems best)
- Max length should be around 1 meter.
- Should handle well on also rough water (sea waves of 30 to 50 cm max) - Is Vee or Cat the choice here? If it is Vee, I wonder why the real offshore world championship boats are Cat)
- My budget is max $400 and this covers everything except the radio control from my previous boat
I actually liked a lot the looks of Kyosho Lamborghini but all reviews are negative. Especially the material and size of engine vs size of the boat. But it looks so cool. Interestingly it is not available in most US online retailers anymore. Kyosho US website does not list nitro boats anymore either so this makes me curious. At the end I would be OK with 3-5 mph less to get also a good look. This is as much as how I AM CONFUSED
I can also consider good built electric if there's a 30+ mph due to easier maintenance. I assume they would be less loud as well but no more TRAXXAS. They are good but boring looks. For some reasons that's why I didn't like Meanmachine even though it should be also a good boat.
So what is the options for me please???
Matt Higgins, you personally tested the Lambo. The official video also seems fast enough for me. But handling in rough water vs Shockwave 36, that will be my concern. Please give a hint
