A buddy of mine still has a few Associated rc500's kickin around. Most definetly one of the fastest cars i've ever had the pleasure of running.

This is as old school as it gets for me, My Kyosho Assault that my dad got me in 1984 right after my parents got divorced (maybe he was trying to bribe me??????).

Go here (http://radiocontrolentertainment.com/videos.htm) and scroll down to the middle of the page and you'll find a video of nitro on road racing from the early 1970's. It's a truely amazing video to watch. Worth the download ;)

Love the Assault...I've been eyeing one of those for years but have too many projects to deal with at the moment. Would love to have a Vanning also ($$$) :(

fuzzy,
Was there a pipe? Or did they just run them open header?
This would normally have a header pipe directing the exhaust under the chassis.

Does anyone remember the Dynamic 1/8 car that I guess was in the 70's.
I had one, but never had the money for motor or radio. Any pics would be great!
