Ok you know the wires that go from the speed control to the motor on electrics that have those little like rubber ,possibly heat shrunk, wraps around the connectors. how do you disconenct those wires?
do i have to just cut them, and then put new ones on?
thanks

Cut off the shrink wrap,w/hobby knife. Using a soldering iron remove wire. Use solder wick to remove old solder.DO NOT use regularsolder from electronics shop, It contence has lead in it. Use solder by Deans, It has silver in it. Dont forget to replace shrink wrap.

I though you were talkin' at the ESC. If your at Pete section just pull them apart. the clear is just vinyl to protect the connection.

Wel I take silver solder over lead hand down!! With the heat we work at, lead wiill melt or break off. Silver take a bit more.

Lead is fine, most if not all rc related solder is made mostly from lead, while some (Dean's) use a percentage of silver for better electrical conductivity. What you DO! want to stay away from is Acid-Core solder as this will eat electrical components. Use a 40/40 Rosin Core solder and you'll be fine.
