Hello,
If you were to choose between 2 cars which one would you get. Mugen MTX-4 or the Kyosho V-One RRR.
What are the pros and cons of each car, parts support etc.
As soon I have the funds I might get one of this cars for racing.
Thanks.

My advice is get as much information as possible on the vehicle(s) you might be interested in. Go to manufacturer's website and check out the specs, manual can be downloaded and print any setup information that might aid in tuning. Another thing is compare price, vehicles specifics what might offer something that the other doesn't possess and what might be some weak areas will parts be easy to get. Is there a class locally that you can race it or would you need to travel.

Mugen Is my choice. Cuz if u follow rhe racing scene, under the magazines, EFRA/IMFAR/ROAR, THE major organizatio in racing. You will find that mugan is one one of two models that dominate the class off 200mm class. Serpent and Mugan. Are the top choicss. If there is a permanent track in youf neighborhood you should go and withess them run. Yes I have traveled around The NE. SE. MidW, West Region, under ROAR.

I have driven both the MTX4, and the RRR, and they are so close, your best bet would be go with the one your shop supports.
I have the MTX3, and love it, and still dont wont to change to the MTX4,but have driven both the cars.
It is pretty much a draw in my opinion

I run most of the time at Revelations Raceway in Montclair.
I did not make it to Crystal Park for that race though.
I went to Crystal Park just yesterday, but was not able to stay for very long because the track opened up so late.
I go to Revelations at least 4 to 5 days a week, and will be there tomorrow night,Thurs. night, and during the weekend.
Which tracks do you run on?

Have not made it to Sun Valley yet, but matter of fact, about four of us from Revelations are kind of planning a road trip there to check it out.
I have been told that for even the 1/8 scale on-road cars with tall gears and stock tires, that it can get rough on the engines because the track is so large.
But we still want to try it out.
We will probably all take our 10th scale, and 1/8 scale on-road cars, and tons of support for them, and make a day out of it.
I had some trouble myself on their web-site, and even had trouble getting the phone number, but I think we have all the information we need now.
If you have not been to Revelations in a while, you should check it out.
The owner<Dana> has really been working hard on the track surface.
This past weekend, the traction was amazing!!.
I have never been on a track where the cars had that much bite.
You should give it a try. Let me know if you go there, and we will hook-up and run some laps together.

Sun Valley a Huge track!! Cuz it was built for 1/5 scale. It's only been there 6yrs. Its good to see Reveltion re open I know it was close down for a while. The back stetch is huge probably a 1/4 -1/8th longer then Revelations. Talking about speed that the track to be at. It is long than CP raceway.
The hour they have it is bad. and short in time. When it was built for 5th scale, it changed handler 4 times since. I really dont know where it is going. At least we have CP and revelation to go, So,Cal. for electric fun. We'll meet at one of the tracks! see ya around!!!Later bro!!!
