I have a boat that is almost a WAL-MART boat, but has the the shape and size of a race boat. I had a idea to use it and try to make a fiber glass boat based off of it. Does any one have any tips on how I can make the crazy dream that is in my head?

start here:

there is a lot of good info on the site, plus you can get all the stuff you need. composite work can get tedious as i learned this weekend when i started laying up my first carbon hull. if you know someone who can work composites and is willing to lend you a hand you'll be off to a a good start. attention to detail is the key.

Take a look at this UK site http://www.cfsnet.co.uk/ (http://). There is an Online manual in PDF format on the website that I found useful.
They claim a 3 day service in the UK but it was only 23 HOURS from order to delivery. :)
