Augest 12th.. we will be holding our second R/C drag race of the year.... open to any 1/10th, 1/12th, 1/8th r/c vehicle.... trucks cars motorsysles you name it.... even monster trucks.....
Come find out how fast your r/c car is.... and stick around and see how fast you real car is in the night street drags...
Track opens at 10am and racing begins at 1pm for the r/c drag racing..... free to watch and hang out ... $15 to race... Bracket, PM/funny car and extreme....
bracket is just like the big cars anything you got... just need to be able to change crystals.... Pro Mod and Funny car are pretty much the same other than wheel base ,but for more detailed rules see the www.rcrods.com for rules.... and extreme.. well that pretty much says it.. but you better be able to do over 90mph in 132ft to compete.
if you need more info e-mail me at strghx@yahoo.com

You guys could use the trap at the end of the 1/4 mile and your organization could officially record the speed/run at any event you have. If you want to follow the WRCCC rules, just verify that the car making the run was within the rules and the speed is recorded!
I would like to come down later in the fall and run my car after it is repaired. I am busy with work this time of the year. Any events late October or November?

Crap.. most r/c cars go under the beams that the strip has in the mph measurement.... been there tried it..lol.
Right now our only scheduled run is the Sept 2nd date..... Rockingham Dragway has a full schedule for the rest of the year till after the IHRA world finials.... To be honest we are taking money out of their pockets for them to let us use the main strip for a our drag race.... they are booked up with track rentals from IHRA and NHRA pro cars testing....PLus they have the DRAGSTOCK 3 event on the 16th of Sept.. 110 + Pro Mods coming in...
Hopefully we can get at least one more date to race before it gets to cold.. i will post it as soon as we have one ....
Also.. been e-mailed about having Street Drags as part of our drag racing... Touring cars racing... 6-cell with a mod motor....if we get enough to want to take part they are more than welcome in their own class... (4) if not they can still take part in the Bracket class till we build up a few....

Having trouble answering your e-mail. My car is 17" high and should trip the beam.

Got your e-mail Craps.. and your car should be fine....to trip the beams... most of the normal lower cars wont however.... when you get you car back together let me know and maybe you cna come down to one of the night street drags they hold and get some passes in on the strip....

OK! I fixed the e-mail problem. You have an old AOL account linking from RC Zone that does not work.

Track opens for practice at 10am..... you can get in earlier than then to set up.... quailifing starts at 1pm.. rest as we go....
Bring tables chairs and a tent.... power cords and if you have a generator.. bring it.. power is in limited supply for wehre we are set up.. but i'm sure you can plug into some one for power.
