Yep. I've got one, and I love it. I've had no problems so far with it (other than the wires in the switch randomly coming off the solder joints every now and then). It's very efficient, stays cool with whatever application you put it in, and is very reliable. It's also got a bunch of tuning options, and current limiting.
I personally found the settings that I liked and then covered the LEDs and Trim pot holes (as well as the current limiter slot) with clear tape to prevent any dirt and debris from getting inside.
I definitely recommend it!

It's fine. Its just the older version of the v7.1, and they're both good for either racing or bashing. Very reliable ESC's, will last you a long time. The specs are a little lower, and has a bit more on resistance, less max momentary load (current), etc..
I'm sure you'll be happy with either of the two. For any purpose they should be good.

The V7.1 is what I use for offroad racing, it's the upper version to the V6. For oval racing I use the Quantum Competition becuase of size and weight, just hate waiting on the Quantum 3. My first LRP was the IPC Digital which impressed me to stay with LRP/Quantum escs.
I purchase a Tekin 411 Pro that I haven't even opened yet.
